What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do not do with it.

Last updated 14 September 2026

This page describes how Klevidence operates. It is written to be read, not to be impenetrable — if anything here is unclear, ask us before you rely on it.

What we collect

We collect the business information you choose to give us — the context, source material, and website content you connect so that agents can work from it. We also collect ordinary account information: who you are, how to reach you, your billing details, and what plan you are on.

We collect usage information about how the platform is used, so we can tell which parts work and which do not.

Why we collect it

Klevidence uses the information relevant to the task to help produce the output you asked for. That is what the platform is for. We also use what is necessary to run the service itself — operating your account, billing, support, security and abuse prevention, and meeting legal obligations.

  • To run the agents you ask us to run
  • To keep your account available and secure
  • To support you when something is not working
  • To meet legal obligations where they apply

How AI processing works

Producing a draft or an answer means sending the content the task needs to a third-party AI or model provider, so that provider can process it and return the result you asked for.

What is sent depends on the task. It can include what you enter, the business context you have chosen to apply, source material you supply for that task, and, for Web Chat, the passages of your own connected website content that relate to the visitor's question. Not every task sends every category.

We use more than one provider and may change which one handles a given task. We will tell you which providers we use if you ask.

We send what the task requires and no more, and we do not send your material to a provider for any purpose other than producing your result.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information. We do not share one customer's business context or connected knowledge with another customer. We do not treat the material you give us as ours to reuse for unrelated purposes.

Sending task content to an AI provider so it can produce your result is described above, and is the one place your material routinely leaves our own systems.

People who use Web Chat on your site

When you connect a website, Klevidence stores the conversations visitors have with your Web Chat, and any name or email address a visitor supplies. That information belongs to you and is available to you, and it is removed when you delete the connected site. If you operate Web Chat, your own privacy notice should cover it.

How long we keep it

We keep your business information for as long as your account is active, and remove it when you delete it or close your account. Operational records such as request logs are kept separately for security, billing and troubleshooting, and are not removed by deleting content.

Your choices

You can see, correct, and delete the business information held under your account. If you want a copy, or want something removed that you cannot reach yourself, ask us and we will do it.

Contacting us

Questions about this policy, or about information we hold, should go to the contact address on our contact page. We would rather hear from you early.

Questions about any of this?

We would rather answer a question now than have you assume something we did not mean.
